Apr 25, 2022, 08:00 AM by Beverly Claussen

Rebecca Permar, who successfully defended her Medical Humanities PhD dissertation “Of Cyborgs and Chimeras: Our Future with Emerging Technologies” on March 29th, has been accepted into the ScienceHumanities International Summer School 2022: "Energies” at Cardiff University in Wales, June 6-10. This competitive postgraduate summer school is open to researchers worldwide but has only twelve spaces available. It features “seminars by leading figures from Literature and Science, History of Science/Medicine, Critical Theory, and Environmental Humanities” and offers workshops in publishing and international networking opportunities for early career academics.
