The presentation, titled 'Narrating and Digitizing Health: Perceptions of Illness and Medicine in Caribbean Literature', introduce a digital health humanities project that uses Caribbean literature to explore public perceptions of illness, healing, and medicine. By building an interactive archive and thematic map of literary and oral narratives, the project provides a cultural lens through which to understand health disparities and improve global health messaging. It bridges literary studies and public health to support more culturally responsive healthcare practices.
